CSET Professional Learning

Fellows

The Hollyhock Fellows consist of eight cohorts of exceptional teachers beginning with our inaugural class of 2014 and continuing through 2022 with our current Cohort 8. Spanning 35 states and 205 public and charter schools, the 621 fellows have an average of 3.8 years of classroom experience when they enter the fellowship and teach in high schools where 80% of students qualify for free and reduced lunch. With a record of exemplary teaching and desire for continual professional growth, they are dedicated to refining their practice in order to better serve their students. Since 2014, the teachers in this program have collectively impacted over 178,000 students in their classrooms. As of 2020, 86% of all Hollyhock alumni are still teaching and are, on average, in their 9th year of teaching, and an additional 10% are working as school leaders.
