Christine Wynn Bywater

Associate Director

Christine joined CSET in 2016. At CSET, she serves as an Associate Director where she co-leads the center's mission and vision while spearheading initiatives in Digital Pedagogy. As part of this work, she designs and leads research-based professional learning and coaching experiences for educators, focused on integrating technology as tools in service of collaborative, creative, and joyful learning environments for all students. Christine also leads the professional learning component of the CRAFT project, led by Dr. Victor Lee. CRAFT is a joint endeavor between the Graduate School of Education and the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, focused on developing co-designed curriculum resources to enhance AI literacy in teachers and students.

Prior to CSET, Christine served the role as Technology Clinical Associate in STEP, a high school social studies teacher, and a K-8 technology instructional coach. Christine holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from New York University and a Master of Science in Educational Technology & Media Leadership from CSU Long Beach. Christine also holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Studies Education with a minor in Psychology from New York University's Steinhardt School of Education.
