Tammy Wu Moriarty

Associate Director

Tammy Wu Moriarty joined CSET in 2014. At CSET, she serves as an Associate Director where she co-leads the center’s mission and vision while spearheading initiatives in educational leadership development and science teaching and learning. As part of this work, she designs and facilitates research-based professional learning experiences for pK-12 and community college educators, focused on high quality instructional practices and building leadership capacity at all levels of the educational system. Tammy also has extensive experience in both instructional and leadership coaching and thrives on helping others realize their potential.

Prior to joining CSET, Tammy’s experience includes being a secondary science teacher, a district science resource teacher, school administrator, and educational consultant. She holds a BS in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California at San Diego, an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of San Diego, and a PhD in Leadership Studies, PK-12 Specialization from the University of San Diego.
