The Wipro Science Education Fellowship (SEF) is a K-12 science teacher program that works with universities to build teacher leadership through reflective practice, collaboration, coaching, and research-based teaching practices. CSET launched the Bay Area program in 2018, partnering with five local districts to build teacher leadership capacity and drive systems change in science education. CSET facilitates all program aspects including professional learning, coaching, conferences, and district partnerships. In 2023, CSET added a parallel School Leaders Program for administrators and instructional coaches to further support system-wide change.

Maximizing Effective Teaching with AI (M.E.T.A.) is a multi-year professional development project for German teacher trainers focused on AI literacy in education. This one-year intensive program builds teacher trainers' capacity to lead professional learning on ethical, responsible AI use in teaching and learning, supporting classroom teachers in effectively integrating AI and facilitating student discussions about AI. The hands-on experience develops content knowledge and coaching skills while influencing the broader German educational system. Led by Professor Victor Lee's research, CSET manages the project, co-designs professional learning, provides participant coaching, and offers research support. CSET collaborates with AI Tinkery to deliver research-based AI literacy training to the cohort.

Rethinking English Learners is a five-part, year-long professional learning series designed to equip K-5 teachers in San Carlos and Las Lomitas Elementary School Districts to effectively teach English learners in mainstream and specialized settings through Integrated and Designated English Language Development. The research team, led by Prof. Ramón Martinez with graduate student and CSET staff support, partners with district leaders to support teacher professional learning, informing both participating districts and the broader educational community facing similar challenges.

The Superintendent Learning Community connects district leaders with Stanford researchers and fellow superintendents. This learning community provides a unique opportunity for superintendents to engage directly with world-class faculty, explore research-based practices, and tackle the real challenges facing school districts. Each session combines deep dives into current research literature with hands-on discussions about implementation, giving practical tools to apply evidence-based strategies in their own context. Superintendents share best practices, solve problems of practice, and learn from different district experiences.

The JC InnoPower Education Fellowship is a multiyear project co-created with CSET, the Education University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Jockey Club. It is a 15-month program for teams of Hong Kong school leaders. CSET is a key facilitating partner, delivering an intensive week-long leadership and coach development institute in Hong Kong, followed by virtual learning and coaching throughout the program. Through CSET’s support, principals and school leaders gain exposure to global trends, local best practices, and adaptive leadership skills. A major feature is a weeklong U.S. study tour in the spring, where participants observe innovative practices in American schools. With funding and support to drive change, the program fosters school innovation and collaboration, helping Hong Kong build a more inclusive, future-ready education system.

The California Mathematics Educator Fellowship is a one year program for 3rd-8th grade teachers dedicated to empowering educators and elevating mathematics instruction for all students, with a special focus on English Learners (ELs). This fellowship supports teachers and school leaders in effectively implementing the 2023 Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools, fostering equitable access to rigorous mathematical learning. 

The INSPIRE program is a partnership between Bay Area life science teachers and researchers in Stanford laboratories to enhance teachers’ research skills, content knowledge, and pedagogical approaches through an immersive, lab-based experience with support from a pedagogical coach.
