Our Team - Staff
Hillary Paul Metcalf is a Professional Learning Associate with the Center for Supporting Excellence in Teaching (CSET) in the Stanford Graduate School of Education. In this role, she is supporting the development of the professional learning materials for the computer science derivative of the OpenSciEd middle school curricular materials as well as supporting the redesign of the OpenSciEd professional learning suite for better accessibility across the country. Her passion is to support teachers and leaders in positioning their students as knowers and doers in science.
Hillary brings experience as a high school science teacher, a state science supervisor, and a program manager supporting schools in adopting and implementing high quality instructional materials. Hillary holds a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an M.A. in Science Education and Supervision from Teachers College, Columbia University.
