Student Experience Toolkit for Multilingual Math Learners

Multilingual learners (MLLs) are amongst the fastest-growing student demographics, and also one of the least likely to receive consistent access to grade-level work. In 2021, TNTP (formerly The New Teacher Project) partnered with Understanding Language (UL) to pilot a professional learning program for middle school math teachers in three California school systems called MLL Good to Great. TNTP is also offering a free, interactive convening on April 22, 2022, in which attendees can learn more about the MLL Good to Great approach, explore the free resources, and hear directly from district leaders and teachers that participated in the program.
