Our Team - Affiliates
Ana Torres has finished her 8th year of teaching math (5 in middle school and 3 in high school). She has taught in Oakland most of her career but currently works in San Mateo as a math teacher/coach and curriculum writer. Ana is a Hollyhock fellow: 2018-19. She is passionate about using group work to engage students in open-ended mathematics that require deep thinking, collaboration and discussion.
