CSET Research Briefs

At CSET, we work to bridge research and practice. Both directions of this exchange are crucial to the work we do. The research briefs on this page serve to support practitioners and educators to engage deeply in concepts and strategies from educational research.

What are CSET Research Briefs?

Research briefs are compilations of multiple sources of information into a short overview meant for a particular audience. Researchers from CSET pull together literature related to specific areas of teacher development, from coaching to mental health. Writers specify their audience and synthesize various sources into one cohesive document. Research briefs offer a chance to engage in relevant research and apply findings to your own context. These documents range from 3-5 pages and include references for deeper investigation.
