Darby Masland is an Instructional History Coach from Brooklyn, New York. Darby was a part of the inaugural Hollyhock Fellowship cohort, and has remained connected through the Hollyhock program as an Alumni-in-Residence, a member of the Alumni Advisory Board, a presenter through the Hollyhock Alumni Action Network virtual workshop series, and most recently participated in the 2021 Hollyhock Fellowship Summer Institute as an instructional coach. During her 12 years in the classroom, Darby has served as a department head, curriculum lead, instructional coach, and advisory coordinator. Currently, she works as Programs Manager for Nonprofit New York, an organization that works to strengthen New York nonprofits through training, advocacy, and connection. Darby loves all community-building activities and spaces and engaging in deep learning and discovery with fellow educators.
