Dr. Xinjie Chen is a Senior Research Associate and Project Manager at CSET.  Dr. Chen earned double bachelor's degrees from Guangzhou University (China) and University of Angers (France) in Management.  She obtained a masters degree in Applied Linguistics from Sorbonne University (France).  Later, she received her PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Macau (China, SAR).  She then joined the Stanford University Graduate School of Education as a postdoctoral research fellow.  Her research interests include K-12 teaching and learning, educational psychology, positive psychology, multilingual/multicultural education, and second/foreign language acquisition.  Dr. Chen has published a series of empirical research articles and is also serving as the guest editor for a special topic in one SSCI journal, Frontiers in Psychology, as well as the associate editor for another SSCI journal, School Psychology International.  During her time at Stanford, Dr. Chen has been working as one of the lead members in two K-12 collaborative research projects between Stanford Graduate School of Education, the San Francisco Unified School District, and the Sequoia School District.
