Bio update in the works but this is what Yesenia did while she was at Stanford for CSET: Yesenia’s work in education is fueled by her passion for equity, social justice, and systemic change in educational systems. Yesenia brings experience in teaching, curriculum development, creating learning opportunities for adult learners along with previous work in education policy, non-profits, and community partners. With her work, Yesenia hopes to further explore how working at multiple levels can strengthen leadership to provide high-quality experiences for all students. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and Spanish with a concentration in Latin American studies at Grinnell College and a master's degree in Policy, Organization, and Leadership studies at Stanford University. She is currently pursuing her second master's of Arts degree in Public Policy at Stanford University.
