Dan Moore is a doctoral candidate studying Curriculum and Teacher Education as well as Race, Inequality, and Language in Education. His research interests include literacy education, English education, culturally sustaining pedagogy, assessment, teacher education, and issues of educational equity. He is an instructional English coach for the Hollyhock Fellowship Program and also teaches pre-service teachers in the Stanford Teacher Education Program. Dan previously taught English language arts for ten years, mostly in New York City.
