Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Book Club for Advanced Placement Teachers

Discuss how the ideas and calls to action put forth in Zaretta Hammond's Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain and Sharroky Hollie's Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching and Learning can (and should) apply in advanced placement classrooms. Each week we will share ideas on an online discussion board and once a month we'll gather virtually online in small groups to discuss the chapter assigned that month. This is a supportive, informal learning environment where we will join in community to consider how to better serve our underserved currently enrolled in our AP classes.

Continuing Education Units:  2 units.  Units will be distributed after all course requirements are turned in and instructor verifies their completion.
