Suki Jones Mozenter is a doctoral graduate with a focus on how learners make sense of being readers and writers. She has deep experience in public education, working with students, teachers, community members, and district leadership to improve outcomes for all students. Her current research areas include: students as enactors of critical pedagogy; faculty interactions within district improvement programs; professional learning experiences of immigrant-background teachers; and discourse analysis of student interactions within literacy workshop structures.
