The Hollyhock Fellows consist of four cohorts of exceptional teachers beginning with our inaugural class of 2014 to our 2017 cohort. Spanning 27 states and 114 public and charter schools, the 372 fellows have an average of 3.7 years of classroom experience when they enter the fellowship and teach in high schools where 80% of students qualify for free and reduced lunch. With a record of exemplary teaching and desire for continual professional growth, they are dedicated to refining their practice in order to better serve their students. Since 2014, the teachers in this program have collectively impacted over 82,000 students in their classrooms. After one year in the program, 85% of fellows report that they plan to teach at least 3-4 more years while 46% plan to teach 9+ years.
