Kelly L. Boles is an Assistant Professor of Educational Data Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research focuses on identifying, examining, and addressing spatial inequities in STEM learning opportunities — for both student and teacher learners. Originally from Greene County, TN, Kelly taught mathematics and computer science for six years in Eastern Kentucky. Her current work with CSET, entitled Rural Student Success, supports rural school and district teams in analyzing their data, designing and implementing interventions, and refining those efforts through ongoing data analysis.
